I was reading though Angelas fortune telling and am intrigued by what was said;...
"When the time comes and you need a weapon look under the roots of te Menoa tree. Then when all seems lost your power is insufficient, go to the rock of Kuthian and speak your name to open the vault of souls"
(This is the advice which Solembum..the ware cat...gave Eragon)
What do you think does this means?

I think it means that now that Eragon is swordless(thanks to murtagh) he will find one buried beneath the menoa tree and when Eragon loses to Galbatrox because he isn't powerful enough he will find that power in the vault of souls

I think that Earagon will get another sword, from the manoe tree. Wasn't the tree once a woman, she will give it to him. Then Earagon will find some hidden power in the vault of souls (maybe Gallbatorix's true name)

I agree with you all on the first issue, and I particularly like Maenya's point: the Manoa tree was an elf woman before she was a tree -- an elf woman who wanted to preserve nature. What better way to preserve nature and harmony than to assist the last Rider free of Galbatorix in bringing about a new age of Riders? Of course, I've also wondered about the friendship between the elven smith and Orik. She only took a vow not to make the swords again, after all; what if she taught Orik and the dwarves to make them?
I don't know about the vault of souls, exactly. Don't forget, Eragon's power has already proven insufficient; insufficient to defeat even Murtagh, much less Galbatorix. There is also the possibility of his power proving insufficient to rescue Katrina or to defeat the Ra'zac. However, the name "vault of souls" makes me wonder if it truly contains souls. (Flashback to the Lord of the Rings.. about how no one knows where the souls of Men end up... Anyway...) If it did, then the possibilities are limitless; he could consult everyone from leaders of the Shur'tugal Order to his mother, Selena. (She was the wife of the first and last Foresworn; there is a possibility that she could know something.)
Ah, anyway, enough contemplating; I need to go to sleep. ;D
