*GASP*!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you read the wizard's first rule? I did a book report on that omglolz Actually I don't skim through a book because to me that ruins the suspence that builds at the end, but I sometimes skip over a buch of paragraphs with only description to get to the dialogue and then someimes i don't know what is going on >_<
candence-yes I agree with you though I have found a few books that are really good that aren't very long and aren't in a series

Yes. I read a 3 book long short series that was really good. Vampire Plague and I love the books by Gordon Korman even though they are small.

Trudi Canavan is a really could author as well, and she writes long books. I like some descriptive parts in books as long as they don't dwell on the one subject for too long.

Yes. I now started the book Squire. I read the books that have vivid description, but not too much of it in one part. I like books around 200-600 pages. That way I finish them quickly and have enough time to finish them.

Wow. That is quite a bit. I didn't travel really. I went to a lock in, went over to some friends house, had my friends over here. You know, that type of stuff.

I went to a lock in and stayed up until about four in the morning when the parents came just because I was too afraid of what they would do to me if I went sleep , though it was pretty fun and I guess I do though it usually ends up with them coming here

Nameless.. Oh, forget it, I'm just gonna call you Alf! -- Wow.. that's kinda creepy. XD Are you spying on my or something? *shifty eyes* I know what it is! You're sitting there with Reneey watching those videos that she taped with my computer mouse. Yes, that's it... Okay, now that I'm through making a fool of myself... Ah, what's the point of ordering ahead of time? Just go to the bookstore at midnight! It's more fun, and you get the book immediately at midnight. Then you stay up reading it and get about three hours of sleep because you were so excited that you couldn't sleep. You've been to New Zealand!? Woow.. I envy you. The farthest away I've ever been is to Canada. >_> Maenya and Cadence -- Argh, I just can't do that. I love descriptions, because they help me get the picture in my mind. Then it's like I'm watching a movie instead of reading a book, and I couldn't do that without the descriptions! I know what you two are talking about, though. I'm the only person I know in real life who has made it through all three volumes of the Lord of the Rings, and they all said it was because they got stuck on the descriptiveness...

if you really like descriptiveness then go read the sword of shanarra, its decent, its a fantasy like eragon and the first book is really descriptive in my opinion
